Tacoma pedestrian severely injured in hit-and-run accident

The Tacoma News Tribune reports that a female pedestrian, who was crossing in the middle of the 600 block of St. Helens, last night around 6:30pm was hit by a driver who then kept on driving. The woman, appeared to be in “pretty bad shape” after the pedestrian accident according to Mark Fulghum a police spokesman. Her condition is unknown at this time.
