Seattle moped driver killed in accident with car

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that a 39-year-old man driving a moped on East Montlake Place in Seattle, Washington crossed the center-line and died after a collision with a Honda Accord. It appears that the Moped driver lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of 24th Avenue East and East Miller Street. The moped driver hit the car windshield upon impact. He was taken to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle where he pronounced dead of his injuries.

Police said speed and wet road conditions contributed to the accident.
