Port Orchard, Washington senior citizen injured in motor home accident

A senior citizen was injured in a single vehicle accident after a motor home she was riding in went off the road and turned on its side on Highway 108 south of Shelton. According to the Kitsap Sun, a 74-year-old man from Port Orchard was driving the vehicle when he fell asleep at the wheel, ran off the road and into a ditch.

A 76-year-old woman, a passenger in the RV, was injured and taken to Mason General Hospital. Her condition is unknown. The driver of the motor home and a 73-year-old Port Orchard woman, also a passenger, were not injured.
