Woman killed, man injured in Seattle car accident

One person was injured and a 57-year-old woman died after a roll-over car accident which occurred on Friday morning in the Broadview area of Seattle, Washington according to the Seattle Post Intelligencer. The woman, who was a passenger in a Subaru, was taken to Harborview Medical Center where she died of her injuries. The driver of the Subaru was taken to Harborview with what the report described as “minor injuries.”

The man driving the second car involved in the accident, a Jeep, was not injured.

According to the Fire Department, the accident occurred about 11:45 am at North 1278th Street and Greenwood Avenue North in Broadview.

The cause of the accident is being investigated but police do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
