Baby critically injured in Federal Way roll-over car accident

An 11-month old baby boy suffered critical injuries when he was thrown from a car when it rolled in a car accident in the 800 block of Southwest 356th Street in Federal Way just past midnight on Friday morning according to The Seattle Post-Intelligencer. The baby is thought to have suffered critical head injuries.

The driver of the car, a 30-year-old Hispanic man, and the infant were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. The relationship of the man and the baby are not known at this time.

According to witnesses, the driver lost control and the car rolled over several times before coming to rest on its top. The baby was thrown from the car but the man had to be extricated by South King Fire and Rescue squad.
