Bothell, WA woman killed, 2 injured in head-on car accident outside Ellensburg

The Yakima Herald.com reports that Sunshine Fisher, 32, of Bothell, Washington was killed on Highway Interstate 90 just 3 miles west of Ellensburg on Wednesday morning in a head-on car accident.

According to the report, Fisher was headed east in a Ford Crown Victoria when she crossed the center median and hit a Saturn head-on. The driver of the Saturn, Krzsztof Komorowski, 50, of Cle Elum was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with multiple broken bones.

Fisher’s passenger, Harmony Fisher, 22, of Duvall, was taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg with possible broken bones.

The Washington State Patrol said that Fisher was traveling too fast for the icy road conditions. All three victims were wearing their seat belts. The two cars were totaled.
