Issaquah man seriously injured in pedestrian accident on I-405

Seattle’s KOMO News.com reports that an Issaquah man was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning on the Interstate 405 (I-405) in Bellevue, Washington.

According to the report, the 23 year old man was attempting to cross the freeway when he was hit by 43-year-old Edmonds woman driving a 2002 Honda Accord. The driver was not injured.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he is said to be in serious condition. The Washington State Patrol says they do not know when he was attempting to cross the freeway and whether drugs or alcohol was a factor.
