Head-on car accident injures two women near Preston, WA

Seattle's King5.com reports that two women were injured when they collided head-on in a car accident on State Route 18 near Preston. According to the report, the auto accident occurred around 6:30am at Highway 18 near Raging River. This location is approximately two miles south of Interstate 90.

Both cars had extensive front-end damage and both drivers suffered "non-life threatening" injuries. One woman had to be extricated from her vehicle.

The Washington State Patrol did not give a reason for the accident.
