Driver arrested after Lincoln City pedestrian hit-and-run-accident injures 2

Lincoln City Police in Oregon have arrested a man after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in which two men were injured. The pedestrian accident occurred on March 7th at NW 2nd Street near Highway 101 when a car hit two men; one man suffered a leg injury with possible broken bones and another man suffered an arm injury.

After investigating the accident, police arrested Anthony Daniel Painter 22, on March 12. Painter denied involvement in the accident. Police later arrested a Hispanic male companion of Painter's who confirmed that Painter was the driver of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.

Painter is charged with two counts of failure to perform duties of driver, Assault I, two counts of Assault II and three counts of reckless driving.
