A semi-truck driver was injured while she was removing her tire chains on the westbound Interstate 90 near North Bend on Thursday during a snowstorm.

According to a Washington State Patrol media release, the driver was parked on the left shoulder of exit 34 of I-90 when another semi-truck ran into her trailer. The collision impact caused the dual drive wheels to roll over the woman's arm, crushing it and trapping her under the tire.

The truck driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. WSP are investigating the accident to determine fault.
