Wenatchee bicyclist delivering newspapers injured in accident with car

A Wenatchee man, Phillip Rich, age 29, crashed into a car while delivering newspapers on his bicycle on Wednesday afternoon reports The Wenatchee World. The bicycle accident occurred around 3:15 at the corner of Valleyvue Road and Western Road in Wenatchee when Rich apparently ran a stop sign and ran into a car driven by Kathlyn E. Jessup, age 61.

According to the report, Rich suffered a head injury and an injury to his ankle. He was taken to Central Washington Hospital for treatment.
