Moses Lake rollover accident on I-90 sends two men to Harborview trauma center

The Tri City Herald reports that three Moses Lake residents were injured, one seriously, after a rollover car accident on Interstate 90 at Moses Lake.

Robert R. Tindall Jr., age 22, was the most seriously injured in the car accident. He was a passenger in the Jeep and was thrown from the vehicle in the accident; he was not wearing a seat belt. He is in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Dustin G. Upky, age 21, was also taken to Harborview and is listed in satisfactory condition.

The driver of the Jeep, Andria Merrill, age 30, was not as seriously injured and was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.

According to the report, Merrill, who was driving, lost control of the 1974 jeep when she took the exit to Westshore Drive too fast and lost control. The Washington State Patrol believe alcohol and speed were factors in the accident.
