Renton man killed in early morning single-car accident

A Renton man, Anthony T. McDonald, age 33, was thrown from his Jeep Cherokee and killed in a car accident Sunday morning around 3:30am when his Jeep went off of Highway 7 near Highway 512. McDonald’s body was found 150 feet away from his Jeep. Parkland, Washington is about 10 miles south of Tacoma.

According to a report in The Seattle Times, McDonald was probably speeding when his vehicle left the road. His Jeep flipped over and landed onto top of cars at the Parkland Chevrolet car lot. Approximately10 late-model used cars were damaged and damage estimates are between $200-$400 thousand dollars.
