Renton motorcyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run accident

A 30-year-old man is in serious condition after he was hit while riding his motorcycle at the intersection of Talbot Road South and South 177th Street in Renton according to The Seattle Times. He was taken to Valley Medical Center.

The motorcycle accident occurred around 7:30am. Witnesses said that a Ford Fusion failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle and hit the motorcyclist. The driver of the Ford left the accident scene but the vehicle was later found parked at the Valley Medical Center parking lot. Police believe a woman was driving at the time of the accident.
