Washington woman killed in Colorado car accident that killed four

A Washington woman was killed in a Colorado car accident that killed four and injured two others reports The Denver Post.

The Washington woman was driving a minivan with a male passenger, also from Washington State, and a woman from Oklahoma. The female passenger was also killed.

The fatal car accident occurred on U.S. 287 near Wiley in southeastern Colorado when a car driven by a teenager crossed the center line and hit the Washington woman’s Nissan minivan head-on. Police do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.

The Washington state man was seriously injured and was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Police are withholding the names of the dead and injured until the victims’ families have been notified.
