Man seriously injured in Spanaway hit-and-run pedestrian accident

The Tacoma New Tribune reports that a 23-year-old man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident while walking in a crosswalk at 152nd Street East at Highway 7 near the Lake Spanaway Golf Course in Spanaway.

The pedestrian accident occurred at 3:04 am. The report said that the seriously injured man was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma for treatment. He was reported to be in satisfactory condition.

The driver of the auto that hit the man left the scene of the accident. The car was reported to be “white sporty import with a spoiler on the back.” If you have any information about this accident, contact the Washington State Patrol.
