Four injured when car runs red light, hits metro bus in downtown Seattle

Three Metro bus riders were injured, including the bus driver when a speeding car ran a red light and hit a Metro bus in the Belltown area of Seattle around 4:10pm on Saturday reports KOMO News.com.

The motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Third Avenue and Wall street. The bus was on Route No. 16 from the Colman Dock ferry terminal headed to the Northgate Mall.

The injured bus passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. The report said their injuries did not appear to be serious. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries.
