Monroe school bus accident injures one

The Seattle Times reports that a school bus accident on Highway 2 in Monroe left one student with minor injuries.

According to the report, an eastbound dump truck crossed the centerline when the traffic in front of the dump truck slowed. The dump truck hit a Snohomish School district bus carrying 22 students and a Jeep Cherokee.

The only person injured was a girl on the school bus and she was taken to Valley General Hospital in Monroe for treatment of a “minor injury.”
