Seattle man seriously injured in hit-and-run accident, driver apprehended

An unidentified Seattle man, age 51, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life threatening injuries after a pedestrian accident in Seattle.

According to The Seattle Times, the unidentified man was walking on the shoulder of an Interstate 5 ramp when he was hit by a car. The driver of the car drove off but a Bremerton man called 911, described the vehicle and followed it until Washington State Patrol troopers apprehended the driver, a 45-year-old woman.

The woman was arrested for driving under the influence and felony hit-and-run.
