Bellevue maintenance worker critically injured in pedestrian hit-and-run accident

A maintenance worker was critically injured when a hit-and-run drier hit him while he was blowing leaves in the Hidden Valley Park area in Bellevue reports Seattle’s KOMO News.com>

According to the report, the 47-year-old worker was thrown 25 feet because of the impact of the car that hit him. His injuries are said to be “life-threatening.”

Police are looking for a newer gray or blue compact car; Bellevue police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident, or has information about it to call 911.
