Driver killed, 5 passengers injured in car accident near Poulsbo

Diandre D. Edgecomb, 25, of Marysville was killed in a car accident near Poulsbo late Friday night and five of his passengers were injured, some critically.

According to a report on Seattle’s KOMO News.com, Edgecomb pulled out of a parking lot and into the path of a pickup truck driven by a 46-year-old Bainbridge Island man. The motor vehicle accident occurred in the 26400 block of Highway 3, three miles north of Poulsbo.

The three passengers with the most severe injuries were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, including a 1-year-old baby boy with a head injury and two females in their 20s.

Two passengers were taken to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton including a 23-year-old woman with a broken pelvis and ribs and a 29-year-old man.

The Bainbridge Island man was not injured in the accident.

    To whom ever reads this I need you to put my nephew Trevon also known as (big meat), in your prayers everyday please he is the 16 month old baby boy who was involved in this accident he is in criticle condition and can use all the prayer he can get also his family and friends thank you very much Kris Jacobs

    My cousin dated and had 2 children with Diandre, and hearing about this was a huge shock. I definitely give my prayers to the family of that little boy who was hurt and everyone else hurt by this horrible accident.
