Washington State trooper injured in rear-end car accident on I-5

A Washington State trooper was injured in a rear-end car accident on Interstate 5 near Arlington. The driver who hit him has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence reports KOMO News.com. The trooper reportedly sustained injuries to his back and leg but they are considered not life-threatening.

According to the report, the accident happened near milepost 204 about two miles north of the Seattle Premium Outlet mall a little before 12:00pm today when the vehicle the trooper was driving was rear-ended in the north bound lanes.
