Man killed in Olympia pedestrian accident

A 44-year-old man was hit and killed by a car in a pedestrian accident on Martin Way in Olympia on Wednesday night.

According to a report in The Olympian, the man was in the road and seemed disoriented and several cars avoided hitting him before he was struck.

The man was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia and he died of his injuries at 10pm.

The Olympia police department is asking anyone with information about the incident to call them at 360-753-8300. According to the article, the driver that hit the man as well as other motorists stayed at the accident scene.
