Man killed in pedestrian accident in Seattle McDonald’s parking lot

A 67-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident in the parking of the Ballard McDonald’s parking lot in Seattle after noon today when he was struck by a car that was backing up.

According to a report in The Seattle Times, the man was killed when he was run over by a car around 12:15. Seattle police officers lifted the car off of the man but he was already dead.

The car that ran over the man was driven by a 37-year-old woman. It is not clear whether the man had collapsed on the pavement before he was hit.
