School bus hit by logging truck near Arlington, no injuries

A school bus was hit by a logging truck on State Route 530 east of Arlington on Friday afternoon. Luckily, none of the 28 children on board the bus were injured in the bus accident.

According to a report on KOMO News, the logging truck hit the bus near milepost 31. Washington state troopers said the logging truck was traveling “too fast for road conditions” and it hit the bus when it swerved into the oncoming lane to avoid a car that had braked. The logging truck driver may be cited in the accident.

This is the second accident on the same road for the school bus driver. In both bus accidents, it was not the fault of the bus driver.
