Oak Harbor man arrested for DUI after hitting car driven by sheriff’s deputy

A 25-year-old man from Oak Harbor, Washington was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence (DUI) after he crossed the center line on Highway 20 and caused a car accident. Oak Harbor is the largest incorporated city on Whidbey Island and is the home of the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.

According to the report in the HeraldNet.com of Everett, the man hit a vehicle driven by a sheriff’s deputy for Island County.

No one appeared to be injured in the car accident.
