12-year-old Washington state boy killed in tragic B.C. pedestrian accident

A 12-year-old boy from Washington state has died of injuries he sustained in a pedestrian accident on the Agassiz-Rosedale bridge in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia reports The Vancouver Sun. The boy was hit by a semi truck and was airlifted to a Vancouver-area hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.

The boy was vacationing with his family when the lid of their vehicle’s roof-top carrier blew off and the family stopped to search for it. The boy was outside of the family’s vehicle when he was hit by the truck.
