Man killed, four injured in Enumclaw car accident

The Seattle Times reports that an elderly man was killed in a car accident on Route 164 in Enumclaw on Friday afternoon. It appears that the car accident happened when the man, driving a Buick, pulled out in front of a Ford Explorer when he attempted to cross Route 164.

The Buick was hit by the Explorer which was traveling at speeds of more than 60 miles an hour.

An elderly woman in the Buick was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries.

Three people in the Explorer were injured and were taken to Auburn Medical Center for treatment.
