A two-car accident on an onramp to Interstate 5 injured a 33-year-old Seattle woman and a 37-year-old Everett man.

According to a report in Tacoma’s The News Tribune, the Seattle woman, driving a Ford Escort, attempted to pass a Chevrolet Blazer on the onramp near the Northgate mall. The Escort hit the Blazer with such force, it rolled.

A baby in the Escort was not injured in the auto accident. The Seattle woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with minor injuries. The driver of the Blazer was also taken to Harborview.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the motor vehicle accident but they believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
