Police look for hit-and-run driver who injured pedestrian in Mountlake Terrace

Police are looking for a hit-and run driver who left the scene of a pedestrian accident which injured a man while he was out walking his dog on 238th Street SW at 54th Avenue SW.

According to the HeraldNet.com of Everett, the victim was hit from behind and his injuries included a brain injury and a foot injury.

The victim’s daughter witnessed the pedestrian accident and described the vehicle that hit her father as a full-size, four-door black truck. The truck should have damage to the passenger-side mirror.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the accident to contact Officer Eric Jones at 425-670-8260.

It is required that Washington motorists report any car or pedestrian accidents that involve personal injury.
