Highway 17 north of Moses Lake site of injury accident

The Wenatchee World reports that two people were injured and taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake after a two-vehicle car accident between Moses Lake and Soap Lake on Highway 17 in Washington State. Meagan Darling, age 26, of Ephrata, suffered injuries to her elbow and back. Jaime Beliz, age 31, of Moses Lake suffered a broken collarbone.

The accident occurred after a pickup truck driven by Lourence Dormaier, age 32 of Ephrata, crossed the center line and hit the car driven by Darling head-on, injuring Darling and her passenger, Beliz.

According to the report, Dormaier was not hurt and was cited for improper lane travel.
