70-year-old Auburn woman killed in pedestrian accident

The Seattle Post Intelligencer reports that a 70-year-old Auburn woman was killed while walking in the 3100 block of Auburn Way South around 1pm on Thursday in a pedestrian accident. She was hit by a 200 Geo Tracker driven by an Enumclaw woman.

According to the report, an off-duty paramedic and an emergency room nurse who happened by the accident both performed CPR on the woman but she did not survive.

Auburn police are investigating the cause of the pedestrian accident.
