Man critically injured in Seattle Beacon Hill car accident

The Seattle Times reports that a man driving a 2001 Honda Accord was critically injured in a South Seattle car accident after his car struck a median, flipped and he was thrown from the vehicle.

According to the report, the car accident occurred at 1:13 am Tuesday morning as the man was driving south in the 4600 block of Beacon Avenue South near Columbian Way in South Seattle. Apparently, the man over corrected after veering into the northbound lane and hit the median.

The driver was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with “life-threatening” injuries. Police are investigating the accident.
