Kent, WA man arrested for DUI in car accident that injured two

A Kent, Washington man, Tyrone Kinzer (age 43) has been arrested for investigation of DUI and second-degree assault after a car accident that injured two women in Oregon.

According to The Seattle Times, the accident occurred at 11:36 pm on Highway 11 about 10 miles southwest of Walla Walla, Washington. Kinzer, driving a 2003 Toyota, apparently rear-ended a 1998 Ford Taurus. The driver of the Taurus fled the accident scene, leaving behind two injured passengers, a woman, age 23, with critical injuries and a woman, age 43, with minor injuries.

Kinzer was treated for injuries at St. Mary’s Hospital in Walla Walla before he was booked into the Walla Walla County Jail. Police are looking for the driver of the Taurus.
