Motorcyclist and passenger injured in Yelm accident

A motorcyclist, Oscar Anthony Torres, age 44, of Lacey and his passenger, Loretta Ortega, age 54, of Pasco, were both injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a propane tank near Yelm.

According to a report in The Olympian, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon at Stewart’s Meat Market at 17821 on State Route 507.

Police are investigating the cause of the motorcycle accident but said both Ortega and Torres were not seriously injured.
