Tacoma man killed in pedestrian accident on Sprague

A Tacoma man died of injuries he received in a pedestrian accident around 6pm on South Sprague Street reports Stacey Mulick writing in the Tacoma News Tribune.

According to the report, the victim a 59-year-old-man, was carrying a pizza across the street when he dropped the pizza box. He somehow stumbled and fell into a pickup truck that was passing him. The victim was taken to Tacoma General Hospital where he died several hours later.

The driver of the pickup truck stayed at the accident scene and the report says he was not cited.
