According to a report on KIRO Radio, the motorcyclist was speeding when he crashed into the rear of a stalled car. Some witnesses estimated that the motorcyclist may have been traveling at speeds up to 90 miles per hour before the accident.
Police say the teen was wearing a helmet and are investigating to determine whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the motorcycle accident.
The driver of the stalled car was not injured.
