Allegedly drunk teenage driver hits police car and house in Federal Way

A teenage boy who is suspected of driving under the influence sideswiped a police patrol car and then crashed into a house in Federal Way around 2am this morning after leaving a party.

According to a report by KIRO TV.com, friends of the teen had called police in an attempt to keep the boy from driving drunk. The boy drove off in a pickup truck without its lights on and sideswiped a police car.

The teen then failed to negotiate a corner at 30th Avenue and Southwest 325th Street and crashed into a house, causing the chimney to collapse and leaving a hole in an exterior wall.

The teen reportedly suffered minor injuries in the accidents.
