The Washington State Patrol (WSP) arrested Vladislav O. Orlovskii of Bellevue early Saturday after they calculated that he was driving at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour on State Route 520.
The Patrol spotted Orlovskii weaving in and out of traffic traveling east on the Evergreen floating bridge around 1am. They were able to stop him at the 84th Street exit in Medina .
Orlovskii was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and reckless driving. He reportedly has two previous citation for reckless driving, RCW 46.61.500. The penalty for reckless driving is not more than one year in prison and a fine of up to five thousand dollars.
It’s a wonder that there was not a tragic accident with someone driving our highways at such tremendous speeds.
