22-year-old woman injured in Lynnwood hit-and-run pedestrian accident

A 22-year-old woman was injured in a pedestrian accident near Meadowdale Neighborhood Park in Lynnwood on Friday reports the HearldNet of Everett. The driver of the vehicle that hit the woman fled the accident scene.

According to the report, the woman was in a crosswalk when she was hit by a blue SUV. Her right ankle was broken and she suffered other injuries to her leg.

The driver of the SUV is described as white man between 23 and 35 years of age, and between 5’10” and 6′ feet tall. Lynnwood police are asking anyone with information about the pedestrian accident or the driver to call officer Savell at 425-670-5600.
