Teens injured in single car accident near Maytown

The Washington State Patrol reports that John Cabell, 18, of Olympia and his passenger James Cooley, 19, of Rochester were injured in a car accident when the 1990 Pontiac they were riding in went off the road and crashed into trees.

Cooley, who was the most injured of the two, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Cabell was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

According to the WSP release, the single car accident occurred around 11:30am Wednesday near Polehn and Case roads. Maytown is located just east of Interstate 5 along SR 122, approximately 12 miles from downtown Olympia.
