Man arrested for drunk driving and hit-and-run after multiple accidents on I-5 in Seattle

The Washington State Patrol has arrested a 29-year-old man after he hit three cars on northbound Interstate 5 in Seattle on Friday night.

According to a report by KOMO News, the man was driving on I-5 near the West Seattle Bridge exit when he hit one car. He continued on and hit two other vehicles despite the fact that he had lost a tire and was driving on the rim.

The WSP arrested the man after he exited northbound I-5 and went onto the southbound lanes of I-5.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the motor vehicle accidents.

The Patrol said the man had “several prior DUI convictions.”
