Two senior citizens injured in Seattle pedestrian accident

A man in his 80’s and a female in his 70’s were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being injured in a pedestrian accident in downtown Seattle on Thursday.

According to a report in Tacoma’s The News Tribune, the couple were in a crosswalk at Roy Street and First Avenue North when a motorist ran a red light and hit them.

The male victim went up on to the car’s hood and hit his head on the windshield according to witnesses.

The pedestrian accident is currently being investigated.
