Bellevue man arrested after fleeing DUI car accident, BAC was 4 times legal limit

The Washington State patrol arrested a Bellevue man who fled the scene of a car accident at Interstate 405 at Coal Creek Parkway in Bellevue.

According to The Seattle Times, the man and his passenger fled the accident scene after rear-ending another vehicle. The man drove about five miles away but his vehicle broke down and he tried to flee on foot.

The State Patrol arrested the man and his passenger, who was also intoxicated, and tested the man’s blood alcohol content (BAC) at four times the legal limit at 0.326.

The article did not say whether the driver that was hit was injured.
