Stanwood man seriously injured in Snohomish County motorcycle accident

The Seattle Times reports that Charles Hoover, 54, of Stanwood, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 5 near the Snohomish-Skagit County line.

According to the report, Hoover swerved to avoid a collision between a pickup truck driven by Henry Bennett, 70, of Newcastle, who had collided with a disabled car.

Hoover was transported to Colby Campus of Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment.
