Side impact car accidents have some of the worst outcomes. Even if the vehicle has side airbags, the occupants are not as protected as a front or rear-end collision. Side impact collisions are also known as T-bone collision or broadside. They are often caused when a driver fails to stop at a red light or stop sign or when a driver does not yield the right of way.
