Teens injured in Belfair single-car accident

The News Tribune of Tacoma reports that two 18-year-old men were injured when the driver lost control of the 1994 Volvo they were riding in, causing it to crash near Belfair.

The report said that the car accident occurred on State Route 300 around 6:30pm in Belfair. The 18-year-old driver, a Silverdale man, may have suffered a medical emergency which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and run into a power pole.

Both men were taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. Police do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the car accident.
