Couple killed in Cowiche car accident

The Yakima Herald reports that Myra and Larry Morris, ages 58 and 59, were killed in a Cowiche crossover car accident on Monday morning around 9:40am. Cowiche is located approximately 12 miles west of Yakima, Washington near State Route 97.

According to the report, the Morri’s Buick Le Sabre slid on snow and ice and ran head-on to a Jeep Cherokee.

Snow and icy conditions caused car accidents across Washington State. Many vehicles spun out n Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie pass.

The Washington State Patrol reminds drivers to put on their snow tires and to slow down.
