Bellevue man destroys classic Corvette in I-90 single car accident

The Seattle Times reports that a Bellevue man totaled his classic 1968 Chevrolet Corvette in a single-car accident on Interstate 90 near West Lake Sammamish around 5:20pm on Sunday evening.

According to the report, the Bellevue man was speeding and lost control of his vehicle and hit a concrete barrier which caused the car to flip.

The man was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Overlake Hospital Medical Center.

The State Patrol arrested the driver for on suspicion of drunken driving. In Washington state the legal limit for driving under the influence is 0.08%.
