Woman killed in Seattle Link light rain train accident

The Seattle Times reports that a woman has died of injuries she received when she was hit by a Seattle Transit Link Light rail train near Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and Renton Avenue South in Seattle on Sunday morning.

According to the report, the unidentified woman was walking on the tracks around 12:50am and did not respond when the train operator sounded the train’s warning horn.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she died of her injuries.
